The Futures of Mobile Home Communities
Mobile homes have been around for a long time. They date back as far as the 1800’s and have changed a lot throughout the years. Most notably the big changes started coming around in 1976 with new laws being passed. But now it is 2020 and cheap mobile home parks exist along with expensive ones. There were mobile home towers attempted and manufactured homes get mixed up with your standard home. There are so many things, old and new, coming around so what’s next?
I guess a good place to start is will there be more or less of the same? And the answer to this question is no one really knows. It seems like manufactured homes and mobile homes are in a good place. New technology comes out every year to make homes more efficient and comfortable to live in. Many people can’t tell the difference between a manufactured home in Riverside mobile home park and any neighborhood in Culver City. So the future is still a bit unknown at this point but we know one thing. Every home is turning more to alternative energies and alternative housing. As the population of people living in mobile homes is said to be rising we see that these numbers can be a bit misleading. With many people renting out these homes to multiple people using apps making them a new type of hotel in a sense. There are new upgrades in solar panels being pushed for many people to cut energy bills making mobile homes a significantly cheaper option than people believe.
So with this information, we can at least make a guess. And we believe the world of mobile homes is going to keep growing and get more and more enticing. Not only for an investment point of view but general housing. With the housing market becoming more and more expensive and manufactured homes making big strides to become more modern and stylish people will begin to buy in. Especially when it comes to the younger crowds as it used to be in the beginning of the mobile home boom. Then it is starting to look better and better as an investment opportunity as hospitality apps continue to grow at the steady rate they are now. So don't expect mobile homes to go away anytime soon and, if anything, don't be surprised if you see more of them.
